THE Chase viewers were left VERY distracted by a “sexy” contestant and compared him to an EastEnders icon.
Bradley Walsh, 61, was joined by four more contestants to take on the Chaser to win a cash prize.
Ancient History student Gordon, 32, was first up and fans were immediately left blushing.
The mature student, who plays in a band for fun, told Bradley that he wanted splash out on a retro guitar if he won the cash.
The Edinburgh lad left fans swooning as he took on Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha in tonight’s instalment.
After securing a respectable £7,000 in the cash builder round, he then went head-to-head with the Chaser.
However, ITV viewers were left flustered and pointed out that Gordon had an uncanny resemblance to BBC One soap star Michael Greco.
Actor Michael played hunky Italian Beppe di Marco in Albert Square from 1998 to 2002.
Viewers were left hot under the collar, with one writing: “Come on Beppe. #TheChase”
Another gushed: “Gordon’s super cute! I hope he makes it through to the final round. #TheChase”
“Well Hello there Gordon
. #TheChase,” a third posted.
One fan added: “Gordon is pretty sexy!! Reminds me of Beppe in EasEnders. #TheChase”
Gordon managed to sail through to the final round despite the Sinnerman trailing behind him.
He was joined by transportation planner Peter, theatre manager Chloe and HR manager Helen.
Unfortunately, Rachel was caught by Paul but the rest of the players made it back to the final to play for a total of £23,000.
Sadly they were caught with six seconds remaining and two failed attempts to push back.
It comes after yesterday’s dramatic instalment, where host Bradley fumed “get on with it” at a contestant hesitated to answer a question.
Lynne was the second player to face Chaser Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis, but faced the wrath of Bradley who scolded her for being “slow”.
As the contestant considered which answer to go for, Bradley shouted “stop talking to him” and to “get on with” pushing the button before time ran out on the ITV quiz show.
Viewers were quick to comment about Lynne’s slower approach, with it becoming one of the show’s biggest talking points.
Taking to Twitter, one fan simply wrote: “Brad is finding Lynne annoying.”
Another echoed their comments, adding: “Lynne is in a world of her own.”
Someone else fumed: “Lynne holding her hand behind her back and then moving like a slug to press the button probably murdered the two of them there.”
