The Chase viewers open-mouthed at contestant’s pet confession – and even Bradley Walsh can’t keep a straight face

THE Chase viewers were left open-mouthed at a contestant’s pet confession – and even Bradley Walsh couldn’t keep a straight face.

Monday’s edition of the ITV show saw four new contestants take on Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha in a bid to win some money.

The Chase viewers were left stunned a contestant’s pet revelation

Caitlin revealed she had over 200 pets at home including snails and rabbits – leaving Bradley Walsh stunned

The third player up was Caitlin, who had a chat with host Bradley, 61, before her Cash Builder round.

Caitlin, 24, revealed she is a Zoologist student from Newcastle and is a massive animal lover.

So much so, she has a huge array of pets at home ranging from 200 snails to rabbits.

When asked what she would do with the money she said: “I want to get a massive rabbit house with tunnels underground and a massive space for them to run around.”

Bradley struggled to keep a straight face at what Caitlin said, while The Chase viewers were equally stunned by her revelation, with one joking on Twitter: “She’s got 200 pets = 199 snails and a tape worm… #TheChase”.

Another added: “200 pets? Bet her house stinks. #TheChase”.

A third tweeted a gif of a lady surrounded by dozens of cats and wrote: “Live footage of Caitlin’s home #TheChase.”

Caitlin also revealed her favourite animal are goats, before taking on Paul in the head to head.

Unfortunately, she was no match for The Chaser and was sent home emptyhanded.

However, Bradley managed to get a cheeky quip in before she left, telling her: “Give our love to the kids.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
