THE Chase’s Bradley Walsh was left speechless by a contestants real age.
The ITV quiz show sees a new batch of four contestants attempt to take on a Chaser every episode.
On Friday, a player called Chris caught viewers attention with his surfer blonde locks as he stepped up for his Cash Builder round.
Host Bradley, 61, asked Chris about himself and discovered he had been learning Spanish for three years as his partner is from Madrid.
Bradley then asked: “How old are you Chris?” and viewers were not expecting his reponse.
Chris replied: “37”, leaving Bradley stunned as well as those at home.
The presenter said: “Are you really? Wow you look well for 37.”
Viewers agreed, with one writing on Twitter: “Chap on #thechase is 37!! Looks more like 24/25.”
Others were more distracted by Chris’ hair, with one writing: “Has Chris just glued a wig onto his head?”
Another joked: “Is Chris’s hair going to answer questions of its own?”
While a third added: “Chris, Chris…………… Maggie Thatcher’s on the phone, she wants her hair back lol!!”
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
