THE CHASE’S Paul ‘Sinnerman’ Sinha has revealed that despite initially never wanting to get married, he decided to pop the question with a £20 ring.
Quizzer Paul, 52, has been with his partner Olly since 2017 and decided to put a ring on it in 2019.

The Chase star has, however, divulged that he wasn’t always keen on marriage.
Joining actor Martin Kemp, boxer Tommy Fury and presenter Vernon Kay on Loose Men on May 18, Paul and the panel spoke about masculinity, marriage and the week’s headlines.
Funny man, Paul contributed to the topic of marriage by saying: “I never wanted to get married, and I don’t think Olly ever wanted to get married, and then one family Christmas 2018, I got drunk, and I started looking around at my family and realised Oliver, who gets on so well with my nephew and niece, was very much part of the family.”
At that moment, he knew he wanted to marry Olly, and he decided to save the money that he would have spent on a fancy ring and put it towards their wedding. He asked Olly to marry him with a ring from Topshop.
Although he liked the idea of “throwing a really massive party” he said marriage had never occurred to him “before that Christmas”.
He added: “Everyone deserves their moment in the sun and their moment of happiness.”
Reflecting back on the moment, he said: “You look at someone, and you go, ‘You’re never going to be happier than you are with that one person’ and you think, ‘Why not make it official?'”
He proposed seven days later in Rome, adding: “The ring, thoroughly recommend it, [was from] Topshop. £20 from Topshop.
“The one thing I knew he wouldn’t value was an expensive ring; that’s not what drives the relationship. It’s companionship and love and having fun, it’s not the value of jewellery.”
He added: “So I didn’t want to spend any money on the ring. It’s more money I can spend on the wedding.”

While also appearing on the show, he spoke about his battle with Parkinson’s and how things will only get tougher for him.
“I have Parkinson’s. It is a tough call, and it will get tougher for me,” he said.
“In the years that I have ahead of me, I want to do my best to show that it doesn’t have to ruin your quality of life, and that you can fight against the stereotypes others have of you.”
