SHAUN Wallace has lifted the lid on when he plans to quit The Chase – and it’s not anytime soon.
For over a decade, The Dark Destroyer has impressed viewers on the ITV quiz show, hosted by Bradley Walsh.

The Dark Destroyer was selected as the first quizzer on ITV quiz show
The Chase has celebrated a stellar year, fresh off the back of a BAFTA for the regular show and a National Television Award for its spin-off Beat The Chasers.
Despite balancing his career in the law with that as a TV quizzer, Shaun has said he intends on remaining on the programme as long as the public has an appetite for it.
“To be honoured and to receive awards for it is just beyond my wildest dreams, it’s just fantastic,” Shaun told The Mirror.
Following a rigorous audition process, Shaun was selected as the first quizzer on The Chase, ahead of co-star Mark Labbett, known to fans as The Beast.

Over the years, Shaun says his methods of preparing for the wide-ranging show’s trivia have stayed the same,
He did, however, note that each of the Chasers have adopted their own approach.
“I keep myself as up-to-date as I possibly can in terms of catching up with recent events,” he added.
“Every Achilles has a heel. I’m not really into soaps or things like that.
“So if I don’t know the answer, I’ll just try and make an educated guess.”
Shaun noted that his recording of episodes of The Chase takes a backseat when he is involved in a major trial for his full-time job, but said he relishes the stark difference between his two lives.
“I managed to fix everything around each other, because I’m doing both types of jobs, which I love, so it’s not a chore at all,” he concluded.
“It is a completely different world. The world of court is serious real life events and it should be treated as such and I keep the two separate.”
The Chase airs weekdays from 5pm on ITV.
