THE new series of The Crown is out now and the re-enactment of Princess Diana’s bombshell Panorama interview has everyone seeing double.
Clips of the interview have been posted to social media, with the real interview split side by side with the Netflix hit’s version, leaving viewers stunned.

In one clip, posted on Twitter, Elizabeth Debicki’s recreation of the 1995 interview and her similarity to the original has caught attention online.
Commenters were quick to praise the actress for such an accurate portrayal of the ‘people’s princess’.
Debicki looks almost identical to Princess Di, with her trademark layered blonde hairdo, as she make a stinging quip about the breakdown of her marriage to then-Prince Charles.
One user wrote: “I grew up seeing clips of Diana (including this one) being shown virtually none stop and she’s [Debicki] nailed it.

“She’s got the mannerisms down perfectly.”
Another said: “She has nailed it hasn’t she? I remember watching this at the time, she was something else wasn’t she?
“There was just something about her and Elizabeth Debicki has clearly done a beautiful and respectful job of playing princess Diana.”
Meanwhile, a third praised Debicki’s performance, while paying tribute to her predecessor as Diana in the hit series: “Acting 101! Elizabeth studied Diana and will deliver.
“Thank You Emma Corrin for your spectacular portrayal of Diana’s youth.”
Season 5 of the royal drama came out today after months of fan anticipation.
The previous season left off with a storming row between Charles and Diana heralding the point of no return for their marriage, while Margaret Thatcher was ousted as PM.

As is The Crown’s custom, a new cast will be taking over for this season, with Harry Potter star Imelda Staunton playing the late-Queen.
Jonathan Pryce will take over as Prince Philip, while Dominic West stars as Prince Charles opposite Debicki’s Diana.
