THE Great Home Transformation viewers point out multiple blunders in the new makeover show.
The Channel 4 series, hosted by Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw, hit our screens last night.
Wednesday’s instalment of the show saw interior designer Alex help Pete and Louise who are struggling to work from home and deal with the needs of their two kids.
In Suffolk, the team aimed to create some much-needed individual space for the family.
Emma and Nick set about transforming family homes across the country in just three days with the help of one “life-changing truck”.
However, viewers were underwhelmed by the result and noticed blunders throughout the episode.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “Where the HELL did they get this sh*t ‘interior designer’ from? Even the tiny shelves are 10 years out of date Looks like a B&M showroom.”
Another wrote: “Are you taking the p*** on in #thegreathometransformation where an office is is the conservatory in the UK with energy costs, compounded by the government is feasible? Please improve.”
A third penned: “Any one else notice the lady in #TheGreatHomeTransformation pretending to type on her Microsoft Surface keyboard while it wasn’t connected?!”
Made in partnership with IKEA, the series gives families living in houses and flats that are working against them, a home that instead functions well for them; delivered straight to their doorstep by a revolutionary truck.
Inside the truck is an immersive mobile moodboard where the family will experience a bespoke vision for a cleverly designed and stylish new family home, with zero structural changes required, based simply on the family’s activities and needs.
While the plans for each Great Home Transformation will be informed by specialist technology and interior design intelligence, the work will be mostly realised by Emma, Nick and the family themselves showing just how simple and achievable it is to radically change your home for the better through smart yet accessible design.
Great Home Transformation is available to watch now on All 4.
