THE Mandalorian fans have been left baffled after Mando revealed a perfectly groomed moustache under his iconic helmet.
The Disney+ series follows the titular bounty hunter, who never removes his Mandalorian helmet or armour in front of another being.
However, in the latest episode, Mando (Pedro Pascal) removed his helmet as he desperately tried to find a way to save Grogu – aka Baby Yoda.
The adorable creature has been kidnapped by villain Moff Gideon, and as part of his plan to get him back, Mando dons the uniform of an Imperial cargo transporter before removing his helmet to use facial recognition software that will help find Grogu.
While this is the second time viewers have seen his face – the first being at the end of season one – some were more distracted by his pristine moustache.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “I like that Mando clearly takes the time to maintain his secret moustache.”
Another added: “The fact that the Mandalorian doesn’t show his face, but he grows a sick moustache anyways shows how much of a dad he is.”
A third tweeted: “So the Mandalorian has never removed his helmet in front of another living person for his entire adult life, but he maintains a neatly trimmed moustache?”
Meanwhile a fourth agreed, writing: “The fact that his moustache is just on point. Wears a helmet 24/7, but gotta take care of that moustache.”
Fans were previously left raging with Mando after he made what they considered to be an obvious mistake which stopped him saving Grogu.
Mando had taken off his jet pack at the request of Boba Fett, but when Dark Troopers suddenly arrived and kidnapped Grogu, Mando didn’t think to go and retrieve it and fly up to save him.
Instead, he ran up the hill only to watch Baby Yoda be snatched away for Moff Gideon’s evil purposes.
