THE Masked Singer’s Nicole Scherzinger broke down in tears after her “baby” Todrick Hall LOST to new champion Jewel.
The finalists’ identities were revealed during the Fox show’s season finale on Wednesday.
After The Bull gave an emotional final performance of Invisible by Hunter Hayes, Nicole, 43, was teary eyed and said: “Woo, that song struck a couple chords with me.
“We’ve all felt invisible sometimes but what’s beautiful is when someone like you has a gift to make people feel seen.
“And because of that, we truly see you and you are the new voice of the Masked Singer and I am rooting for you to take home the Masked Singer golden trophy.”
The Bull became emotional as Nicole spoke and he also began to cry on stage.
After taking a moment to collect himself, he added: “Sometimes you just feel like there’s nothing you can do that’s good enough but I do this because I love it.
“I’ll never stop singing no matter what happens.”
Before the contestant was unmasked, Nicole predicted that The Bull was “fo sho” Todrick, 36.
She said: “There is no one more talented so I believe this is my babe, my partner, my show off, Todrick Hall.”
Once he is unmasked, Nicole looks really proud as she blew kisses to him and kept repeating: “My baby, that’s my baby!”
Todrick asked Nicole “how long did it take her to know” who he was.
She responded: “I knew right away.”
The Masked Singer panelist called the singer one of her “best friends,” adding: “I’m so proud the world gets to see who you are.
“You have such a legacy and I’m so happy the Masked Singer is part of that legacy.”
DROPPING HINTS
Nicole wasn’t the only person to correctly guess Todrick’s identity, as many fans have taken to social media throughout the season to say the singer under the mask was the former American Idol contestant.
One of the main reasons fans quickly identified Todrick is because of the flamboyant flare of Bull, which is something that the singer mirrors.
Another clue was when he said in the semi-final: “When I was true to myself, my success skyrocketed. And now, I have the opportunity to inspire others who maybe think they don’t fit in with the herd.”
After The Bull was revealed to be Todrick, fans learned that winner The Queen of Hearts was singer Jewel, 47.
FANS GUESS RIGHT
Even before she was unmasked, viewers felt confident that Jewel was the voice behind the costume.
One fan wrote: “I already know that Bull is Todrick and Queen of Hearts is Jewel.”
Another added: “The chances of queen of hearts not being Jewel are about as good as the sky not being blue.”
A third chimed in: “If the Queen of Hearts isn’t Jewel, I’m popping my own ear drums.”
In addition to Nicole, The Masked Singer panel is also made up of Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon serves as the show’s host.
