NETFLIX viewers have blasted “disgusting” new docu-series The Most Hated Man on the Internet, which chronicles harrowing revenge porn stories.
The Most Hated Man on the Internet premiered on Netflix on Wednesday 27 July, but viewers have been left feeling sick after watching the series’ distressing revenge porn scenes.

Charlotte Laws made it her mission to stop Hunter Moore
Hunter Moore, the self-proclaimed ‘King of Revenge Porn,’ founded the notorious revenge porn site IsAnyoneUp.com in 2010. For two years, it was dedicated to posting explicit pictures of women and men without their consent, until it was shut down in 2012.
The three-part documentary, which is helmed by Alex Marengo, the creator of Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet, focuses on cases from that time and tells the stories of the women and men who were brave enough to speak up against him.
At the centre of the documentary is mother and daughter duo, Charlotte Laws and Kayla Lewis.
According to Netflix, Charlotte made it her “mission to bring down Moore’s internet revenge-porn empire after he posted nude pictures of her daughter online.”
Kayla’s email account was hacked, and her private pictures were distributed on the site.
With the eventual help of Kayla’s step-dad, she was able to get the pictures taken down, but Charlotte’s mission didn’t end there.
“I was literally obsessed with getting this website down,” she explained to The Post.
“I was neglecting work. I wasn’t doing anything except this,” she said.
While telling Charlotte and Kayla’s story, the docu series shares harrowing revenge porn scenes, including emotional testimonies from Hunter Moore’s victims, which have left Netflix viewers sick to their stomachs.
One viewer said: “I’m watching ‘the most hated man on the internet’ on Netflix and this man is actually vile. it’s so sick how, not that long ago, victim blaming was so normal.”
Another commented: “Watching most hated man on the internet and it genuinely makes me so sad to see how normalised these disgusting behaviours were. To completely and utterly violate a woman’s personal images and information for the masochistic entertainment of belligerent men.”
The series has also left some viewers so infuriated that they couldn’t continue watching it.
“8 minutes into The Most Hated Man on the Internet and I have had enough of the filth that is humanity for today,” one viewer said.
They continued, saying, “Hunter Moore is unrepentant; thinks his years in jail is penance enough for ruining the lives of so many women. this misogynist scum and his followers shouldn’t exist.”

“Don’t watch ‘the most hated man on the internet’ it’ll just infuriate you and make you hate m*n even more,” another warned.
