The One Show viewers can’t believe Paris Hilton’s real voice and age as she gives rare live TV interview

THE One show viewers were stunned to hear Paris Hilton’s real voice and age during the live interview.

The former Simple Life star, went on the BBC programme to chat to Jermaine Jenas, 38 and Rylan Clark, 34 about her new book, Paris The Memoirs.

In the book, which Jermaine described as “a riveting read,” Paris, 42, recalled her “trauma” and the challenging things she has gone through.

Paris explained that her troubled childhood inspired her to create the “Barbie doll” persona on television.

“I think it was a trauma response where I created this, this character, this Barbie doll fantasy life so I didn’t have to think about what I went through,” Paris Hilton told Jermaine.

“And then I got The Simple Life and I had to carry on playing that character season after season.

The reality star then went on to explain how she got “stuck” doing it and that she is naturally a “shy person” so it felt like it was a “mask” to be able to deal with the “pressures”.

She shared: “It was really difficult the way the media were so vicious with us. We were under a magnifying glass with the media constantly stalking us, making up stories, it was just very difficult to deal with. You definitely need a tough skin.”

The stars’ rare live interview left viewers shocked as they couldn’t believe how different she sounded – some even questioned if she had “voice-coaching”.

They were astounded by Paris’ appearance and said she “looks amazing” for her age.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “I can’t believe how different Paris Hilton sounds. Oh my god!”

Another penned: “Wow, so she’s been faking the dumb girl voice all these years.”

A third added: “Paris is 42?! She looks amazing for her age.”

A fourth questioned: “Did she have voice coaching or something, she sounds so different?”

A fifth added: “I can’t get over Paris’ voice difference, holly s**t.”
