THOSE who tuned in to The One Show on Monday evening were left baffled by a guest’s appearance.
Presenters Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas were joined by documentary-maker Stacey Dooley and former Culture Club frontman Boy George.
The 80s icon – real name George Alan O’Dowd – was sporting a bold yellow hat covered in smiley faces and a plaid poncho for his TV interview, but it wasn’t his fashion which caught viewers’ eyes.
The singer was introduced at the start of the show when he gave a beaming smile, showing off some pearly white teeth.
Fans of the show were quick to notice the dazzling grin, with many rushing to Twitter to comment on it.
One wrote: “Methinks Boy George has got new teeth #TheOneShow“.
However, many claimed that his new nashers were impacting the way he spoke, and that he didn’t sound as clear as he once did.
One said: “Boy George’s teeth are making him speak funny. Are they new?”
Another concered viewer said: “Has Boy George got a new set of teeth? He seems to be struggling with his speech.”
Aside from the comments about the star’s speech, many were excited to see him on the show.
