The One Show’s Nikki Fox leaves camera crew howling with swipe at Steve Coogan

THE One Show’s Nikki Fox left the camera crew howling with a swipe at Steve Coogan on Wednesday.

The latest edition of the BBC show was presented by Jermaine Jenas and Zoe Ball, with Nikki on hand for a segment about customers who have faced issues with ticket resell site called Stubhub.

The One Show’s Nikki Fox took a swipe at Steve Coogan leaving the crew in hysterics

Nikki made a pun and felt Steve should have laughed

Nikki said: “Stubhub. It’s a ticket resale site that gives customers the opportunity to buy and re-sell tickets, but we’ve been hearing about customers who have been having all sorts of issues trying to reach Stubhub when there’s a problem.

“Sally Marshall, she got in touch with us. She booked tickets to see Sting and got Stung. Thank you.”

While Jermaine and Zoe laughed at her pun, Alan Partridge star Steve, 56, barely reacted.

As everyone else reacted, Steve gave a slight nod and appeared to say “very good” but Nikki told him: “You could have laughed at that, Coogan.”

The crew burst out laughing at her comment before Steve replied: “I appreciated it.”

Nikki then laughed and said “Thank you”.

Wednesday marked the first show of the week after the programme was taken off air on Monday and Tuesday in a schedule shake up.

Closing Thursday’s show on April 14, host Alex Jones revealed: “I’m off the Hague to present the BBC’s coverage on the Invictus Games, and you can catch the first show this Sunday at 4.20pm on BBC One.

“Then it’s on Monday, 6.30pm and 7pm on Tuesday,” she added.

The Games returns after being postponed since 2020 due to the pandemic.

It’s an international sporting event for “wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women”.
