Meryl Streep is a world class actress who is now 71 years old.
Some of her most iconic roles have come from The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia!, August: Osage County and The Iron Lady.
She’s won a plethora of awards and is regarded as one of the best actresses of her time.
James Corden as Barry Glickman
James Corden made a name for himself in comedy TV when he co-wrote and starred in Gavin & Stacey.
Rising to fame, he then gained a successful career in film and TV.
Making his name in America, he hosted The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Jo Ellen Pellman as Emma Nolan
Jo Ellen Pellman is a newbie to the acting world.
She was specially selected by Ryan Murphy for this film adaptation of the Tony award-winning musical.
She’s featured in a couple of TV shows before, but this is her big debut.
She is also queer herself, which will come as a relief to those tired of straight actors being cast in queer roles.
Nicole Kidman as Angie Dickinson
Nicole Kidman is another world-class actress and has at a few points in her career been one of the highest paid actresses of her time.
She won an award for her portrayal of a character suffering from domestic abuse in Big Little Lies and most recently starred alongside Hugh Grant in The Undoing.
Keegan-Michael Key as Tom Hawkins
Keegan-Michael Key is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer.
He’s often seen in comedy shows, such as Key & Peele and Parks and Recreation.
In terms of film, he had small roles in The Lion King remake and Pitch Perfect 2, among others.
Andrew Rannells as Trent Oliver
Andrew Rannells is a top Broadway actor with a list of cult classic shows under his belt, such as Jersey Boys, Hamilton and Hairspray.
He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in The Book of Mormon.
He won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
