The Traitors 2024 star Paul Gorton has been revealed as one of the 22 contestants competing on this year's series of the hit BBC show. But what many may not know is that Paul has actually appeared on another popular gameshow before.
Paul was on Deal or No Deal
In 2010, Paul, who works as a business manager, participated in Channel 4's Deal or No Deal. The show, hosted by Noel Edmonds at the time, saw Paul try his luck at winning a cash prize. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and he ended up with only £10 and 10p.
A brief history of Deal or No Deal
Deal or No Deal originally aired in 2005 and ran until 2016. The show made a comeback in November 2023 with Stephen Mulhern as the new host.
Paul's aspirations on The Traitors
Despite his previous experience on Deal or No Deal, Paul is now focused on giving his all on The Traitors. He expressed his desire to be the one that people are trying to find, saying, "To participate in the show fully is to be a Traitor, I think." He even joked that if Claudia, one of the show's hosts, touches his shoulder, he'll never wash that top again.
The Traitors returned to our screens earlier this week, and Paul is determined to make his mark on the show.
