The cause of death is still pending, but according to TMZ, drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.

When they arrived, first responders tried to resuscitate the reality star but were unsuccessful.

The reality star’s friend and former castmate Susie Stenberg told TMZ that Denise had been homeless and living in her car before she found and reached out to her just the night before to say to her she loved her.

“Denise was the most loving and loyal person,” she told the publication.

San Diego police have launched an investigation.

Denise starred on the Vh1 show in 2011 as part of one of the three couples on the show that followed the lives of extreme sports athletes and their partners.

The show aired 10 episodes in its first and only season.

At the time she was dating professional skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon.

‘LOVE OF MY LIFE’

She is survived by her son, Leo Wolf, whom she shares with Pierre-Luc.

In an Instagram post, Denise paid tribute to her young son.

She wrote in the caption of the photo of him: “To my Lion Wolf, you are the reason the sun shines bright in the sky, why the moon glows, is full and the stars twinkle.

“Leo you are why the world is good baby and magical. Thank you for being my son my cub! Love of my life, no one compares to you.”

COVER GIRL

According to her Instagram profile, Denise was recently competing to become an Ink Magazine cover model.

“Please remember to keep voting for me on the Inked website as the next cover girl,” a post on the model’s Instagram read.

Along with photos of her son, Denise frequently posted photos of her body art.

In an interview with the magazine, the model said: “I love being a mom! I have an 8-year-old beautiful son named Leo Wolf, boys rule btw and he’s the light of my life!

“We wrestle, I do my Russian wrestler accent and body slam little mouse on the bed! Leo made life better and being his momma is a gift!”

Denise also explained that if she won the $25k cover model prize, she’d use it to “build a foundation to reconnect with my son.”

“The money would help bring the stability in life to reunite us,” she said.

Denise was 44 years old.
