THIS Morning fans were left stunned as they spotted Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on an Apple+ hit drama.
The married TV hosts featured briefly on Jennifer Aniston’s acclaimed drama The Morning Show.
Eamonn and Ruth popped up in a scene with Reese Witherspoon’s news anchor character – Bradley Jackson.
During the scene, Bradley is in a meeting with a panel of TVs playing in the background and it was there the popular presenting duo popped up.
Ruth and Eamonn could be seen presenting the ITV morning show as fans loved their surprise cameo.
But they weren’t the only ITV stars spotted in the scene, with Loose Women’s Denise Welch also popping up.
Denise was just a shocked as anyone to appear on the hit Apple+ show.
“Just sitting on set @Hollyoaks and notice that Im just casually in The Morning Show @AppleTV@loosewomen#fromhollyoakstohollywood,” she wrote on Twitter.
Fans were shocked to spot the stars and realised it was a very surreal moment.
“Reese Witherspoon on The Morning Show enjoying Eamonn & Ruth on This Morning. Incredible scenes,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another added: “hey – Eamonn and Ruth on the tv behind Reese Witherspoon in the first episode of The Morning Show – HOORAY !”
Ruth and Eamonn’s Hollywood cameo comes after their co-stars Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield appeared on another Apple+ show.
They appeared on Ted Lasso, with the Jason Sudeikis led hit comedy series starring many cameos from British pop culture.
The second episode of Ted Lasso’s new season included some familiar faces that left viewers reeling.
The first cameo Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), faced elimination on the Love Island spoof show he’s been appearing on, Lust Conquers All.
Another scene featured the Soccer Saturday team is getting ready to welcome retired Chelsea player Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein).
Icons Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara were seen interviewing Roy who gave negative commentary on his former team’s loss.
Then in another very meta moment Jennifer Aniston appeared on This Morning to promote The Morning show in an interview with Josie Gibson.
But she was left horrified as she thought Josie asked if she was ‘a hooker’ during a very awkward interview.
The Hollywood actress struggled to understand Josie’s Bristolian accent throughout the chat, but was particularly thrown when she asked: “Are you a hugger?”
Shocked, Jennifer replied: “Am I a hooker? No…”
Mortified Josie quickly tried to explain what she was really saying as she demonstrated a hug.
Reese Witherspoon, who also appeared in the interview via video call to promote the latest series of The Morning Show, couldn’t stop laughing.
Back in the studio, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were also rather tickled by the encounter.
Holly admitted: “That’s the best thing I have ever seen on telly.”
While Phillip added: “She took being asked if she was a hooker very well.”
