THIS Morning’s hosting line-up was due to return to normal tomorrow after the Easter break.
However, it was revealed this afternoon that Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will not be reunited as planned.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will not be reunited tomorrow
Holly, 42, told her followers that she will not be able to return to our screens as she’s suffering with shingles.
She wrote a message to viewers that was shared by the official This Morning social media accounts.
It read: “Hi… Just to let you know I may be away for the rest of the week as I have Shingles.
“I’ll be back as soon as I’m better. Huge Love, Holly xxx.”
Shingles is an infection that causes a painful rash and can appear anywhere on your body including the face and eyes.
The NHS say it can’t be passed to others, though people who have not had chickenpox before could catch it from a shingles sufferer.
Both Holly and Phillip have had two weeks off – in common with much of the main ITV daytime line-up – for the Easter holidays.
They were replaced first by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary then Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.
However, Phillip has been off for longer, being absent from the show since Thursday March 23.
He was off the programme on pre-planned leave while his brother stood trial at Exeter Crown Court.
Timothy Schofield was convicted of three counts of causing a child to watch sexual activity and three of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
The civilian police officer was also found guilty of three counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and two of sexual activity with a child.
Phillip said afterwards: “These are despicable crimes, and I welcome the guilty verdicts. As far as I am concerned, I no longer have a brother.”
