Alison Hammond is ‘top of the list’ to present the new series of Big Brother
ITV2 teased the show’s return earlier this month
The returning series will air on ITV2 and on new service ITVX, with all the action once again happening in a purpose-built house with nominations, public votes and live evictions.
And fans have been wracking their brains trying to figure out who will be hosting the show.

They continued to the Mirror: “Execs think she’s exactly what the show needs.
“She’s energetic, fun, relatable and she was on the show, so she knows it inside out.”
And it seems like she’s more than happy to take on the role.

Alison rocketed into the public eye after appearing on the third ever series of Big Brother 20 years ago.
The show became a launchpad for her career as she became a presenter on This Morning the same year, and started presenting This Morning on Fridays with Dermot O’Leary in 2020.
Big Brother hit our screens in 2000 on Channel 4.
It stayed on there until the show moved to Channel 5 in 2011, and wrapped up seven years later.
Alison could be following in the footsteps of Davina McCall, Brian Dowling and Emma Willis.
The Celeb Report exclusively revealed four months ago that the cult reality TV show was set to be rebooted after a five year hiatus.
Big Brother is rumoured to return in May 2023.
Alison starred in the show herself in 2002
