A THIS Morning host has had their ITV competition show axed after just one series.
The broadcaster’s animal programme, fittingly titled The Pet Show, has been shelved.

It was presented by This Morning‘s Dermot O’Leary and actress Joanna Page.
The teatime programme aired on ITV1 and allowed viewers access to celebrities and their furry companions.
Actor Ben Miller and Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha were among the famous guests to appear.
At the end of each show the animal would face an agility course that put their charm and skills to the test.
Viewers’ heartstrings were also pulled as human interest stories on heroic animals were broadcast.
However, ITV bosses have decided to not to bring the series back for another run.
The Celeb Report has approached ITV for comment.
One episode of The Pet Show left viewers horrified after a woman pulled a dead cast out of a box.
The cat’s owner told how she missed her so much after her death that she decided to have her stuffed.
The moment they were reunited was then aired on the show, with her presented with the pet in a white cardboard box.
However, some fans were left staggered by the reveal, during which even hosts Dermot and Joanna looked surprised.
One viewer gasped: ‘In the name of all things holy AND unholy NO!!! Please tell me that Fluffy the cat was a joke segment.”
Another tweeted: “Dermot trying to keep a straight face when taxidermied ‘Fluffy’ was taken out of the box….”
ITV fans can currently watch Dermot, 50, presenting This Morning alongside Alison Hammond.
The pair are fronting the magazine show following following Phillip Schofield being sacked and his affair with a much younger ITV employee being exposed.
