THIS Morning has been plunged into chaos as Ruth Langston is ‘unlikely to remain’ on show after Eamonn Holmes quit.
Ruth, 61, has been a double act with her husband on the ITV show for 15 years but it seems her future could hang in the balance after Eamonn quit for GB News.
The couple had presented Friday’s episode of This Morning since 2006 – but after a shake-up they are now only called in during the school holidays when the main hosts have time off.
According to The Mirror, she is ‘unlikely to remain on the show without Eamonn’.
She is also said to be continuing her role as a panelist on Loose Women.
A source told paper: “Eamonn’s move to GB News marks the end of an era.
“He’ll be missed by many ITV viewers but, the truth is, this job offer probably came at just the right moment for both him and ITV. All good things come to an end.”
It’s thought he will be fronting his own show on GB News ‘several times a week’ and is expected to start next year.
Eamonn and his wife Ruth were axed from their regular Friday slot on the show last year as part of a diversity drive, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary taking their place.

A TV insider had previously told The Celeb Report that Eamonn feared he was “too pale, stale and male” to remain a regular face on the show for much longer.
