THIS Morning was thrown into chaos this morning as Phillip Schofield spotted a spider in Holly Willoughby’s hair.
As the presenters started the show, Phillip alerted his co-host to the creepy crawly – leaving her horrified.
He told her: “Well, you’ve got… it’s Halloween coming up, don’t panic, but you’ve got a spider in your hair.”
Holly of course started panicking and squealing straight away, begging for Phillip to remove it.
She did eventually calm down when she realised it was in fact just a small money spider.
Fuming Holly asked Phil: “Can you say you’ve got a money spider, when I’m expecting like a tarantula on my head?!”
He teased her, replying: “Well no, I’m not going to say that am I? Where’s the fun in that?”
Holly pointed out: “It’s meant to be really lucky isn’t it?”
The old wives tale is that the money spider is a sign that the person would come into money.
For extra good luck you are supposed to spin the spider around your head by its web before letting it go.
Holly then proceeded to get Phillip to spin the spider around his head before taking it to another part of the studio to let it roam free.
The presenter, 40, launched her new lifestyle brand – Wylde Moon – last month after deciding to create a space where she could share people, places and products that she loves.
She plans to flog hairdryers, rugs and cosmetics on the Gwyneth Paltrow inspired website.
Another includes her signature scented candle – named The Wild – which is the first product that has dropped.
The price range varies from £40 to £65 depending on the size.
