Alison was left in giggles after she realised what the term GOAT means
Alison, 48, admitted she had been blocking fans as she thought GOAT was a form of trolling
Earlier this month Phillip, 61, came clean about his affair with a much younger ITV runner.
Phil, who was married at the time, branded the relationship “unwise but not illegal”.
Alison had previously sobbed live on air and said what Phil had done was wrong.
Meanwhile others weren’t as convinced she was genuine.
Yet this week she was forced to say sorry for her antics on social media.
It came during Friday’s news segment where Alison and Dermot chatted about the day’s news headlines.
Dermot announced panelists Matthew Wright and Nick Ferrari as “GOAT guests.”
The phrase is a slang term used to mean the Greatest Of All Time.
Alison was left completely baffled by the introduction and told how she had spotted the term on her Instagram page.
Going on, she told how she had blocked users branding her the term as she believed it to be offensive and a form of trolling.
She told viewers: “I’ve been blocking people.
“Sorry If I’ve blocked you.”
Alison’s message came during an eventful week on This Morning which saw Holly Willoughby deliver an emotion statement about ex co-star Phil.
The This Morning anchor, 42, made her bombshell statement on her former ITV co-star during Monday’s live episode.
Holly had been absent from the set for the past two weeks — during which Phil made his life-changing confession.
Yet she also appeared to post a cryptic dig at Phil this week as she referred to “meaningful coincidences.”
