ALISON Hammond has claimed Naomi Campbell took inspiration from her in her latest British Vogue cover.
Naomi, 51, graced the cover of the fashion magazine for its March issue – posing with her baby daughter, after shocking the world by announcing she’d become a mother in May last year.
As Alison, 47, and her This Morning co-host Dermot O’Leary discussed having children later in life for a segment on the ITV show, supermodel Naomi’s cover flashed up.
Former X Factor host Dermot said: “Look at that squidgy bubba!”
Alison commented: “Gorgeous.”
She then asked: “Can we just go back to that picture of her in Vogue?”
Playing along, Dermot said: “I’ve seen that picture somewhere before.”
“I feel like Naomi’s been taking a few leaves out of my book, because about a month ago I had this…,” Alison said, before her recent Fabulous magazine cover appeared on the screen.
Laughing, Alison said: “Look, she copied my hair! I’m a style icon, I’m inspiring Naomi.”
In her Vogue interview Naomi insisted having her baby is the “best thing” she’s ever done.
She said: “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her.
“But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
