This Morning’s Phillip Schofield ‘storms’ off set during Spin To Win after caller admits they weren’t watching the show

THIS Morning’s Phillip Schofield walked off the show’s set today after taking exception to one viewer’s remark.

The 59-year-old star looked unimpressed with a Spin To Win contestant told him: “I have to be honest I wasn’t watching this morning.”

It came after a viewer admitted they hadn’t been watching the programme

Phillip then flounced off the set in mock fury, saying: “Right, bye then! See you!”

She protested: “I was taking my husband to physio” as the sound of an icy wind played and the star remained off screen.

Phillip then returned as co-host Holly Willoughby, 40, helped the unlucky competition entrant with the question.

Sue from South Wales had been asked what cake expert Juliet Sear was making on This Morning today but admitted she wasn’t watching.

Despite an onscreen clue reading: “What do we eat on our birthday?” she admitted she was stumped – but got it right after a prompt from Holly.

The question was the bonus on Spin To Win, a game where you get to keep the cash amount selected after a spin of a wheel or a tombola.

You then get a shot at winning a prize bundle – commonly referred to by Phillip as the “bag of shizzle” – by correctly answering a question.

Sue won £1,000 after asking Holly to pick a ball out of the tombola.
