Good Morning Britain was pulled off air early and as part of a huge ITV schedule shake-up, and This Morning experienced delays, as well as being taken off air.

But in good news for fans of the hit daytime TV show, it’s returning on Thursday at 10am on ITV1, with Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle as hosts.

The presenter duo will be joined by Marcus Bean as the chef on the show, and he revealed the news on Instagram in a smiling selfie with Josie and Craig.

Marcus penned: “I’m back cooking on @thismorning this week with the lovely Josie and Craig.

“I’ll be cooking my quick Chicken, Red pepper & soy noodle stir fry, make sure you tune in.”

Fans were delighted to hear the show would be returning to its slot on screens.

Meanwhile, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby is taking her summer break from the show, and was spotted shopping in Portugal as she enjoyed a family holiday.

Holly popped to outdoor shop Decathlon in a frilled frock wearing black shades and appearing to be makeup-free for the solo shopping jaunt.

The 42-year-old will not return to This Morning’s famous blue sofa until September.

When she does, the star will front the show with a revolving cast of co-hosts after ITV bosses decided not to spend big money on replacing Phillip Schofield.

Familiar faces such as Craig Doyle, Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson are all expected to be used.
