Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet, known for his role in Wonka, found a new obsession during the filming of the movie. The 28-year-old star became hooked on the popular computer game Football Manager, thanks to his British co-star Tom Davis.
From Candy Store to Football Manager
During breaks on set, Timothée Chalamet was introduced to Football Manager by comedian Tom Davis. The actor quickly became enamored with the game, much like a child in a candy store.
Tom Davis, 44, shared that Timothée was particularly impressed by his ability to take an Italian second division team to the brink of the Champions League in the management simulator. The Hollywood idol was so impressed that he promptly got his own Mac to play the game.
An Addictive Obsession
Within just three days, Timothée Chalamet was completely hooked on Football Manager. He even described the game as "amazing and addictive." The actor started managing Reims, a team in the French league, and became engrossed in the virtual world of football management.
Football Manager, formerly known as Championship Manager, boasts over five million users worldwide. The game's addictive nature has even been cited in divorce papers as a factor contributing to marriage breakdowns — a potential concern for Timothée's girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
Not Just Football
In addition to Football Manager, Timothée Chalamet also indulged in another popular football-related game during filming. The actor and his co-star Tom Davis would spend their time playing FIFA in Timothée's extravagant trailer.
Despite his fame and success, Chalamet is described as "just a normal kid" by Davis, proving that even Hollywood stars find solace in the world of gaming.
