The Chase – which is hosted by Bradley Walsh – then follows at 5pm.

However Bradley, and Tipping Point host Ben Shephard will be nowhere to be seen today as the shows have been taken off air to make way for the horse racing at Royal Ascot.

The coverage of the annual event in the racing calendar begins at 1.30pm and continues all the way through to 6pm.

Races include the 2.30 Queen Anne Stakes, plus others at 3.05, 3.40, 4.20, 5.00 and 5.35pm.

Unfortunately for fans of both quiz shows, it will be the same situation for the rest of the week, as Royal Ascot continues through to Friday.

It means viewers won’t be able to get their fix of The Chase until Saturday, when there’s a celebrity edition at 8pm.

Meanwhile Tipping Point won’t be back on screens until next Monday, June 26.

Tipping Point did air on Monday, and viewers were left distracted by a player’s appearance.

Dawn, a finance administrator from Yeovil, showed off a deep tan as she made her appearance on the popular show.

Writing on Twitter, one fan joked: “Either I need to adjust the colour on my television, or Dawn has come back from her vacation to the sun.”

Another penned: “I need sunglasses to look at Dawn.”

Before a third said: “Dawn came to us in glorious technicolour.”
