TIPPING Point fans are livid after the quiz show was hit by a ‘travesty’ schedule shake-up this week.
The ITV programme usually airs weekdays at 4pm with four contestants trying to secure as much cash from the machine as possible.
However, Tuesday’s edition was pushed back in the schedule to 4.30pm because of the racing on ITV.
Fans were not impressed that they had to wait 30 minutes longer than usual for their daily Tipping Point fix.
But they were even more annoyed when the show started and they discovered it was a Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals episode featuring a compilation of moments.
It also meant the episode had been cut down from it’s usual hour long run to just 30 minutes so that The Chase could start on time at 5pm.

Taking to Twitter, one fan fumed: “Outraged!!!!! Where is #tippingpoint ? I live for @benshephard talking about ‘riders’.”
Another tweeted: “Oh no switched on & no normal #tippingpoint #c**** #horse #racing it’s a travesty.”
A third added: “Its the best bits, whats happening lol #tippingpoint.”
Meanwhile a fellow Tipping Point fan wrote: “A repeat of #aplaceinthesun with Beverly and Margaret in Umbria, or a repeat (which I’ve not seen) of #FilthyHouseSOS which is knocking me sick…No new #tippingpoint or #TheChase for a while, either. We are in end-times.”
However, others viewers were disappointed that ITV had not shown two final races from Cheltenham before Tipping Point began at 4.30pm.
One wrote: “I wish @ITV would show every race during Cheltenham. No offence @benshephard but f*** Tipping Point, it’s only 4 days of the year.”

Another added: “Absolutely mental that @itvracing doesn’t cover the last two races of the day in order to show Tipping Point reruns. #CheltenhamFestival2022.”
Tipping Point wasn’t the only show affected by the racing, as Loose Women, Dickinson’s Real Deal and Lingo were all cancelled.
Tipping Point airs on ITV and is available on ITV Hub.
