Tipping Point fans seriously distracted by contestant’s wardrobe blunder just minutes into show

TIPPING Point viewers were getting a little flush in the face as one contestant sported a deep V-neck shirt.

Host Ben Shephard was joined by four hopefuls, all wanting to have a go at besting the machine to take home a cash sum.

Steve however did not have a winning game

On yesterday’s instalment of the popular quiz game show, Ben welcomed contestants Steven, Shauna, Norman, and Sue.

Although it was pretty clear from the start that Steve was not going to win big on Tipping Point, he did encourage a lot of online chatter amongst fans of the ITV programme.

He wore a dark green and black checked shirt, which was nothing out of the ordinary, however, his choice to have the top few buttons undone caught the eyes of onlookers at home.

One viewer joked: “Steve going following Ben in the how many buttons are acceptable to have open on a shirt.”

“Button up your blouse ffs Steve. #TippingPoint,” another fashion-conscious onlooker.

Steve passed on a chance to play his first question counter, hoping player Shauna would line up coins nicely for him, but it failed, with Shauna winning enough to avoid the last spot.

His blunder was not unnoticed.

“V neck Steve passed,” a viewer pipped up as Steve peaked at a mere £50.

A disgruntled spectator didn’t understand his fashion choice and commented: “Poor Steve, been dressed from the lost property box #tippingpoint.”

He had the lowest amount banked by a substantial amount and was the first to exit the show.

Sue leapfrogged early on to the front of the pack, with Norman and Sue both left in her dust.

As the episode’s winner, she bagged a total of £3,500, opting not to gamble one final time on the machine.

Her wins would allow her to visit her son, who lives in China.

Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
