TIPPING Point host Ben Shephard has snapped at a celebrity contestant for “embarrassing his family” after a question fail.
TV presenter Ade Adepitan appeared on the special edition of the show alongside comedian Sarah Millican and Strictly’s Janette Manrara.
The celebrity contestants were battling it out for the grand prize of £20,000 to take home to their chosen charities.
Ade, 49, got off to a great start on the show, banking a whopping £1,900 in the bank after answering a series of questions correctly.
However, one caught the wheelchair basketball player off guard – leaving Ben Shephard in shock as he failed to answer the sport question.
Show host Ben, 47, clapped back that the sporting star had “embarrassed his family” for the question slip up.

The question asked which team was knocked out against England in one match during the EUFA Euro 2020 games.
Before Ade had a chance to press the buzzer and answer the question, Strictly dancer Janette piped up with the correct choice.
“You just embarrassed yourself, you embarrassed your family,” Ben quipped to the star, adding he was “disappointed” Ade missed out.
Luckily, Ade saw the funny side to his harsh jibe, and joined his fellow contestants Janette and Sarah in laughing with Ben.
In the episode, Ben was also left shocked when Janette failed to answer a question about Strictly Come Dancing during her quick-fire round.
The professional dancer – who presents ITV spin-off It Takes Two with Rylan Clarke – left audiences shocked by her lack of knowledge.
“Which Strictly Come Dancing judge won the 2021 New Years’ special of the game show Taskmaster?” host Ben, 47, asked her.
Prompting her for an answer as the timer ticked, he repeated: “Which judge?” to which a puzzled Janette simply replied: “Pass.”
Stunned, Ben came back to quiz her on why she didn’t answer the question when the timer came to an end, revealing it was Shirley Ballas.
“Now, look – I can forgive you a few of them, Janette – but do you know Strictly at all?” he jibed, as she insisted: “I do, but I don’t know which judge competed.”
Suggesting “the pressure” got the better of her, she laughed off: “It’s the pressure. If this was dancing I would be great.”
Fans at home were left equally baffled as to why the former Strictly professional was unable to name any of the show’s judges.

“It’s a good job that Janette can dance,” one scathed, as a second added: “Strictly Dumb Chancing.”
“Oh Janette, it’s a Strictly question!” a third said, as a fourth chimed in: “Janette’s charity will be f***ing delighted. 300 quid!”
