TOM Daley has come under fire from viewers of The One Show after hosting the BBC hit with his shirt unbuttoned.
The Olympic diving hero‘s buttons appeared to have also taken the plunge after he appeared with his chest on show.
The Simon Cowell-esque display didn’t go down well with every viewer with some ordering him to button up.
Several fans joked that he was heading to 1970s disco night after the show aired, while another barked: “Do your shirt up for goodness sake!”
Another tweeted: “Tom Daley dressed as Hugh Hefner circa 1974 on tonight’s #TheOneShow.”
A third boggled: “Sorry, have the buttons on Tom Daley’s shirt fallen off?”
The Olympian opened The One Show in an open silk shirt, orange trousers and white shoes, before interviewing guests including Hillary Clinton.
He welcomed viewers saying: “Hello and welcome. We are live on BBC One and iPlayer with Alex Jones.”
She added: “And somebody we are more used to seeing on top of the diving board. It is of course Tom Daley.”
“Oh Tom. Well it’s lovely to have you here. First live telly?”
The 27-year-old diver told her: “First live show so go easy on me.”
Alex, who gave birth in August, replied: “You’re in charge. I’m sleep deprived. I don’t know, it’s up to you.”
