Fans Call Out Mistake in Dramatic Scenes

TOWIE fans have accused the show of being "fake" after spotting a huge mistake in dramatic scenes from the series final. Sunday night saw series 34 of Towie wrap up – with Junaid Ahmed making a heartbreaking confession about his relationship with Joe Blackman.

Details of the Blunder

During dramatic scenes from the series final, Towie fans noticed Elma wasn't actually on the phone, and when Amy picked up Harry's phone, it was clear the camera app was open – meaning she couldn't have been on a call. Junaid revealed his relationship with Joe was over, and the news quickly spread across Essex.

Unrealistic Phone Call Scenes

Viewers watched as Joe started a shock romance with Junaid after splitting from Harry Derbidge. But it all ended in tears, and Junaid was seen making a call to his best mate Dani Imbert to reveal it was over. A shocked Dani then called Elma Pazar, who passed the news onto Saffron Lempriere. Finally, Saffron called Harry to tell him, but the call was picked up by his cousin Amy Childs. Fans were quick to spot that some of the Towie stars weren't actually on the phone.

Backlash on Social Media

Fans took to Instagram to express their disappointment, with one writing: "You could see all the people getting phone calls wasn't even on the phone." Another said: "It's nice when your camera rings you and gives you a bit of drama." And a third added: "Elma's phone was on the Home Screen, Dani's was locked, and Amy's was on the camera, least try and make it look real."
