During an interview on co-star Jordan Brook's podcast, Into The Barbershop, James Lock shared his thoughts on the show. He explained that while TOWIE is a reality show, it is not a fly-on-the-wall documentary. The show does not follow the cast members around 24/7, so certain interactions and arguments have to be recreated for the cameras.
Feeling Frustrated and Overdue for a Break
Lockie admitted that he often found himself getting dragged into storylines and dramas that he didn't care about. He felt frustrated with the situation and believes that the producers noticed his growing frustration. As a result, he decided it was time for a break from the show.
What's Next for James Lock?
James Lock's departure from TOWIE was seen by many as a much-needed break for the longtime star. A show insider revealed that he is still very much a part of the TOWIE family and will return to the show in the future. In the meantime, Lockie is currently filming for Ex On The Beach.
