THE Only Way is Essex stars were moved to tears after being surprised by Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet’s baby revelation.
The couple announced they are expecting their first child in a sweet video projected onto a castle in Towie’s Christmas special.
Introducing A Festive Essex Love Story, Tommy played out his happiest moments with Georgia during their time on the show, including the moment they became boyfrend and gilfriend and sharing a kiss under mistletoe.
Teasing an announcement, a message appeared saying “and here’s to the next chapter, we have some Christmas news…”
A picture of a baby scan then popped up – shocking Georgia and Tommy’s co-stars who were in tears.
Tommy shouted: “We’re having a baby.”
Everyone screamed and cheered for the happy couple, with Georgia in floods of tears admitting: “I’m so emotional.”
The Celeb Report revealed the pair – who have been together for six years – are expecting their first child.
And a Towie couple starting a family is considered so momentous that ITVBe and Lime Pictures producers are already making spin-off episodes all about them preparing to become mum and dad.
A TV insider said: “Anyone worried that Georgia and Tommy will suddenly disappear from our screens now they are having a baby needn’t worry.
“As well as the special spin-off episodes they will also be staying on the main Towie show for some time to come.
“They’re two of its most popular characters so producers are delighted to have them stick around, especially when the two lovebirds become a family of three.”
The pair confirmed The Celeb Report’s exclusive on Instagram this evening, sharing a sweet family selfie with Georgia cuddling their pet dog and Tommy proudly holding up the baby scan.
He captioned the post: “Here’s some good news to end 2020, I feel so blessed and my life now feels complete 
@georgiakousoulou May 2021”
Georgia shared the same snap and added: “WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!
