TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou has returned to social media to reveal she’s continuing to heal after the death of tragic Jake McLean.
The Essex beauty was injured in the fatal late night car crash in Turkey that killed driver Jake.
Yazmin Oukhellou is on holiday in Marrakech
Last week she paid an emotional tribute to her ex before jetting away on holiday to focus on her recovery from the ordeal.
Sharing a poolside picture at a hotel in Marrakech, Morocco, yesterday, she said: “Healing is NOT an overnight process. It takes time. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re finally getting over something & happy again, and then the wound will reopen when you least expect it.
“Don’t give up, don’t get discouraged. Take each day 1 step at a time. Just try to be in a better place mentally, emotionally and spiritually than you were yesterday.
“I’ve come back to my second home after what I’ve been through and tried to centre myself. When those days hit me where I feel like giving up, I practice gratitude and give thanks to even the smallest of things and it really does help. Love Yaz

Yazmin hugged her mum Lisa as she was dropped off at London’s Stansted Airport in a tight-fitting black outfit.
A source told The Celeb Report: “Yaz has gone away with a best friend for a few days to try and take her mind off everything that’s happened.”
In the immediate aftermath of the horror crash, Yaz desperately tried to wake 33-year-old Jake while attempting to honk the horn for attention.
She broke her own arm to escape the car and scrambled to get help.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene but sadly Jake couldn’t be saved.
Yazmin continued trying save her partner once the ambulance arrived, revealing: “They were helping me. I was like, ‘Please can you just help him’ and they were like, ‘We just need to take him to another hospital.'”
Jake was declared dead while she was raced to hospital.
Yaz had nodded off after partying with friends and woke to find their Mercedes plunging 70ft from a mountain road in Turkey.
She explained: “We were just tumbling for what seemed like forever. It felt like I was going round in a washing machine — just round and round. Then eventually it stopped and my right arm was jammed.
“The car was upside down. It had an open sunroof and my right arm was just stuck behind my back and under the folded back of the car roof.”

Yazmin did not know it at the time, but the crash had opened an artery.
She added: “I could just feel my arm absolutely covered in blood. It was like I was lying in a hot bath, there was so much around me.
“At the same time I was trying to wake up Jake. In my head I told myself, ‘OK, he’s just unconscious, I’m alive so he must be alive’. I didn’t want to admit it to myself that he could be dead.”
Yazmin continued: “I somehow snapped my arm through pure adrenaline and panic. I climbed out of the car, and I was kind of holding my arm together with my left hand.
