PREGNANT Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer was rushed to hospital mid pantomime performance on Wednesday after thinking she’d gone into labour.
The actress , 32, returned to social media this afternoon to let fans know both she and baby were fine and she’d actually experienced Braxton Hicks contractions.
She wrote: “To everyone who has reached out in the last couple of days thanks you so much! Me and baby are absolutely fine!
“But on Wednesday I had to go to hospital midshow! Turns out it was Braxton Hicks (horrible bloody things by the way) and was told by the doctors to rest up!
“My plan is to very much return to Panto on the 2nd!”
She then thanks the cast and crew for making her feel ‘very loved’.
Braxton Hicks can occur any time from the second trimester onwards and result in the uterus muscles tightening in bursts of up to two minutes at a time.
While totally harmless, the contractions can be both painful and uncomfortable.
Dani revealed last month that she was carrying a baby boy in a sweet gender reveal video featuring daughter Avarie-Belle Betsy, four.
Her second pregnancy was announced in August, when Dani told her followers: “Han Solo had Chewie. Frodo had Sam. Shrek had Donkey.
“Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022 (hopefully not to a cinema near you).”
Dani and boyfriend Simon Brough previously revealed they wouldn’t be getting married until their daughter was older.
Simon said: “We don’t want to get married just because we’re having a baby. Dani wants the little one to walk up the aisle with us, so we’ll have to wait a fair few years for that.”
Earlier in the year the actress returned to TV for a special three-part series My Mum Tracy Beaker.
From 2002 to 2012, she starred in five series of The Story of Tracy Beaker, as well as a feature-length film Tracy Beaker’s Movie of Me, and three series of Tracy Beaker Returns.
However, her telly comeback was overshadowed by cruel trolling over her size-ten figure.
Dani revealed the devastating effect online bullying had on her mental health and explained the comments made her want to quit social media.
After CBBC celebrated their most successful programme launch ever with My Mum Tracey Beaker, Dani slammed Instagram despite admitting it “got the word out” about the show.
