The Story of Tracy Beaker, which is based on the novel of the same name written by Jacqueline Wilson, premiered almost 20 years ago on TV.

It has gone on to become one of the most popular franchises of all time, with six books, three TV series, a number of successful spin-offs and a television movie.

In 2013 Dani decided to step down from her role as Tracy, but now she’s finally back.

The new series will be told through the eyes of her daughter Jess

The latest spin off explores the bond that Tracy (Dani Harmer) has with her 10-year-old daughter Jess (Emma Maggie Davies) – something that Tracy has longed for since she was a little girl.

Their story is told through Jess’ eyes and follows how they struggle to get by as just the two of them.

When Sean Godfrey (Jordan Duvigneau), a rich retired footballer comes on the scene, Tracy thinks that all their money problems will be solved…
