THIS is the last appearance Cheers star Kirstie Alley made on video in dedication to her fans before tragically dying 12 weeks later.
In a statement made by her family, the 71-year-old Emmy Award winning actress died recently after losing her battle with cancer.

The two-time Emmy Award winner has died after a short cancer battle, her kids announced on Monday.
Glowing and full of positivity, Kirstie Alley, posted a video offering to send her fans and followers special video messages via the celebrity platform Cameo.
She said: “A bunch of you have been asking (me) to do these greetings, and I always do what you ask me to,” Alley said in the video post.
“If you want something funny or something sincere … ‘Hi, I love you,’ or ‘Merry Christmas,’ or ‘I want a divorce’ … Whatever you need, I’ll do it.”
The video was jam packed with humour and sincerity, and the late actress looked remarkably healthy and in good spirits.
Her Instagram followers from around the world commented on the video in adoration of much-loved TV star.
“OMG you look AMAZING,” follower Gabby Allen said.
“Still absolutely stunning,” one follower said.
Another follower said: “Ah I have such a soft spot for you! my mom named me after your character from Cheers and I’ve just always adored you – hope you are doing well.”
For everyone who watched Alley’s video clip, the news of her death came as a complete shock.
Three months later, fans around the world are mourning her death and have returned to social media to express their sadness.
“RIP to a legend,” wrote one fan.
“I’m so sad, Kirstie was so much of my childhood.
“She was beautiful until the end.”
“You will be missed,” another said.
Earlier this week, Alley’s children, True and Lillie Parker, announced her death in a social media post.
“She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength,” the statement reads.
“As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother.”
The family also extended their thanks and gratitude to the team at the Moffitt Cancer Center for their care.
“Out mother’s zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and leave us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did.”
Alley won an Emmy Award in 1991 and a Golden Globe for her role of Rebecca Howe on Cheers.
Her second Emmy win came in 1994 for her portrayal of Sally Goodson in David’s Mother.
Her other major TV credits include Veronica’s Closet, which ran from 1997-2000, 2005’s Fat Actress, which she co-wrote and starred in, and Scream Queens.
Alley also starred on her own show, Kirstie, which aired on TVLand in 2013 and 2014.
In 2018 she finished as runner up in the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother.
The actress grew up in Wichita, Kansas and attended Kansas State University before she dropped out and moved to Los Angeles.
Her film debut came in 1982 in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, where she played the Vulcan officer Lieutenant Saavik.
She went on to appear in more than a dozen other films, including the 1999 hit Drop Dead Gorgeous, Deconstructing Harry, and Look Who’s Talking.
In recent years, Alley competed on Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer.
Alley was married to Bob Alley from 1970 until they divorced in 1977.
She was then married to Parker Stevenson from 1983 to 1997.
Past colleagues and other celebrities also expressed their devastation and have shared tributes to the late actress.
“Kirstie was one of the most special relationships I’ve ever had. I love you Kirstie,” John Travolta wrote on Instagram.
“I know we will see each other again.”

“Whether you agreed with her or not, Kirstie Alley was an undeniable talent who brought joy to many – through the screen and with her warm, hilarious spirit. RIP, luv. You were one of a kind,” wrote fellow actress Jackée Harry.
