Jake Brown lets wife take the reins

TRAITORS winner Jake Brown has said his wife ‘wears the trousers’ so will be deciding how his prize money is spent, after their marriage was rocked by scandal.

Big win for the 'Traitor Hunter'

Dubbed "The Traitor Hunter" after correctly identifying Linda Rands as a Traitor, Jake quickly became a favourite to win. And he ended up doing just that, alongside ex-soldier Leanne Quigley. They split the £96,600 prize, after a whopping 7.4million people tuned in to watch last month's finale.

Marital decisions on spending

Asked whether his wife Shannon will have a say in how the money gets spent, Jake looked at Leanne. She then said: "Of course she’ll have a say on how it’s spent." Jake interjected: "She has full say." To which Leanne went on: "Shannon wears the trousers in their relationship, absolutely."

Scandal and reconciliation

The couple faced a rocky patch last year when Jake grew close to a female colleague, causing suspicion from his wife Shannon. After a confrontation, the pair worked through their issues and have been together since 2015.
