Executive producer of HBO's 'Euphoria' passes away suddenly

Kevin Turen, the executive producer of HBO's hit show 'Euphoria', has died suddenly at the age of 44. Turen was involved in all 18 episodes of the popular series. His passing comes just months after the death of 'Euphoria' star Angus Cloud.

Turen remembered as "incredibly special"

Turen's father, Edward, confirmed his son's death and described him as "incredibly special". Jay Penske, a close friend of Turen, called him one of Hollywood's "brightest rising stars". Turen's greatest passion was his family and friends, according to Penske.

Cause of death unknown

The cause of Kevin Turen's death has not been released. Turen was known for his work on 'Euphoria' as well as critically acclaimed films such as 'Pieces of a Woman' and 'X and Pearl'.

A talented producer with a bright future

Turen, born in New York City in 1979, studied at Columbia University and made his producing debut in 2005. He worked on several feature films and collaborated with 'Euphoria' creator Sam Levinson on 'Operation Endgame'. Turen's most recent projects included the Nicolas Cage film 'The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent' and the HBO series 'The Idol'.

Remembering Angus Cloud

Angus Cloud, who played Fez in 'Euphoria', died in July at the age of 25. His cause of death was confirmed as an accidental overdose. Cloud's family expressed their grief, calling him "special to all of us in so many ways". The actor had recently completed work on a monster thriller movie.
