FANS of BBC Two quiz show University Challenge could not take their eyes off one contestant during the latest edition of the show.
During the episode, Jeremy Paxman welcomed two sets of teams to battle it out in hopes of becoming the winning university.
One contestant had a rather striking look
The outfit divided opinion
Czukai was a part of the St.Andrews team
Facing off were St. Andrews and Royal Holloway in London.
However, it wasn’t the wealth of knowledge that had the viewers talking but rather a very bold outfit choice of one of the contestants on the St. Andrews team.
Csukai, from Berkshire, set Twitter alight thanks to his interesting dress sense and choice of attire for the show.
He donned a bright pink bucket hat similar to those most often associated with festival-culture.
The TV hopeful also wore a blue jumper adorned with clouds for his appearance on the programme.
Taking to Twitter, one fan questioned weather his hat choice was really an appropriate item as they wrote: “Just who told Mr Csukai that hat was a good idea??”
Another fan commented: “I bet Csukai only wears bowling shoes.”
A third shares a screenshot of Csukai and captioned it with a comedic response: “When you’re going to a rave but you’ve got a #UniversityChallenge recording first.”
Other fans were quick to make assumptions on his personality and character at university as a result of his unusual attire.
“I bet Csukai is an absolute animal on the sesh #UniversityChallenge,” speculated one fan, before another added: “He’s a beast. He tucks his jumper in.”
Whilst one viewer penned: “Guessing Csukai is a bit of a character on campus….”
His outfit did not help his cause on the show as his team trailed behind their fellow players.
They limped their way to the end of the show where they scored 90, a far cry from the triumphant score of 145.
