Ahead of the show airing tonight, a first look clip shows Vicky reduced to tears.

The veteran speaks about his pride on that day and also meets well-wishers.
Speaking to the camera, Line of Duty star Vicky says: “Everyone that sees him. I mean, obviously, he’s got his medals on today, and he looks incredible.
“He looks beautiful. But they see him and they want to meet him and they want to shake his hand.”
In a sweet moment, Vicky turns to the 97-year-old and declares: “I’m so proud of you, Grandad. I’m so grateful.”
He responds by joking: “Now, don’t you get me embarrassed as well.”
Vicky McClure: My Grandad’s War sees her try to understand how he found himself in the Royal Navy and at the centre of a world-changing battle on the Normandy beaches on June 6, 1944.
After learning about Ralph’s early life, they head to Portsmouth where Ralph shows his granddaughter the ropes aboard one of the last remaining WWII landing craft.
Finally, Ralph takes Vicky back to Normandy, to the beach he last visited almost 80 years ago on D-Day.
