Vinnie Jones Teases Season Two
VINNIE Jones has shared an update on one of his latest television projects. The former professional footballer turned actor stars in reality show Vinnie Jones: In The Country for Discovery Plus. In this series, Vinnie Jones, 59, takes on 2,000 acres of West Sussex countryside, in addition to over-ambitious farmyard build projects. Taking to Instagram, the star posted a video as he shared the latest news to fans of the popular show.
What to Expect in Season Two
Vinnie and co-star Paul Worby aka "Wobs" are seen in the clip, which was posted on the social media site over the weekend. Wobs asked the ex-footballer: "What are we doing?" To which Vinnie excitedly replied: "We're doing season two of In The Country!" Back in May 2023, it was revealed that the famed hardman was to star in a reality series documenting his love of the great outdoors.
New Romance and Personal Journey
Previously, The Celeb Report told how Vinnie had fallen for personal assistant Emma Ford while filming series one. Emma appears in the programme, where she is seen helping Vinnie run his farm in Petworth, West Sussex. It was revealed exclusively by The Celeb Report that Vinnie will open up about his new romance in the second series of In The Country.
A Different Side of Vinnie Jones
In 2019, Vinnie lost Tanya, his wife of 25 years, following a six-year battle with cancer. Tanya, who was 53 at the time of her death, married Vinnie in 1994 with the pair having first met at the age of 12. As for the show's return, a TV insider said: "In The Country was a sensation when it first aired because it showed a very different side to Vinnie, who most people think of as a hardman on the pitch and the movie screen."
Exciting Return of 'In The Country'
"In fact, images of him being at one with nature and tackling important issues, including men’s mental health, helped make it one of Discovery’s biggest shows. So it’s not a shock to learn it’s coming back." Vinnie Jones: In The Country airs on Discovery Plus.
