Across the term, Waterloo Road’s teachers and parents are going to have to learn on their feet as they try to navigate the ever changing social landscape – from teen homelessness to the cost of living, being LGBTQ+, racism, sexism, mental health and everything else facing young teens today.
Actress Angela Griffin, who portrayed Kim Campbell in the first five seasons of Waterloo Road, will be reprising her role as the new headteacher.

Returnees also include Adam Thomas and Katie Griffiths aka Donte Charles and Chlo Grainger.
The pair are married in the upcoming Waterloo Road and ready to return to the school where they first met, this time, as members of the staff.
But as mentioned above, the show’s revival will also include some changes to the Waterloo Road staff.
Former Corrie actress Kym Marsh will be joining the soap as dinner lady Nicky Walters, whose children Preston and Tonya are pupils attending the school.
Newcomers include newcomers Adam Abbou as Danny Lewis, Priyasasha Kumari as Samia Choudhry, with Noah Valentine joining as Preston Walters.
