Waterloo Road star Holly Matthews is unrecognisable after becoming a life coach following tragic death of husband

WATERLOO Road star Holly Matthews looks unrecognisable 14 years after her stint on the BBC show after becoming a life coach after the tragic death of her husband Ross.

The actress, 37, played student Leigh-Ann Galloway for three episodes of the second series in 2007.

Waterloo Road’s Holly Matthews looks totally different 14 years on from her stint on the show – and has now become a life coach after tragic death of husband

Holly, right, starred in three episodes of the second series of the BBC programme

Her alter-ego wasn’t a fan of fellow classmate Mika Grainger and wanted to get her own back after finding out her mum was growing close to Tom Clarkson.

The troubled teen got her drunk and took a pic of from underneath her top when she was unconscious and sent it around the school.

Leigh-Ann was excluded for her nasty behavior and was never seen around Waterloo Road again.

After her stint on the popular drama – which aired for a total of 10 series between 2006 and 2015 – Holly landed herself a number of other TV roles.

She starred in Doctors in 2007 and again in 2009, and Casualty in 2011, 2012 and 2014.

Holly has also appeared in The Bill as Josie Clarke.

She’s also starred in a number of short films including That Day, Stew & Punch and The Friday Fund.

Holly’s latest acting job was back in 2018, but it seems she’s now putting all her efforts into The Happy Me Project.

It was set up in 2017 after the tragic death of her husband Ross Blair, who died of brain cancer.

The property developer diagnosed with a rare grade-4 primitive neuroectodermal tumour (PNET) in 2014.

The couple tied the knot in 2012 and share two daughters together Brooke, 10, and Texas, eight.

She documented the heartbreaking experience on her social channels and decided to do something to help others going through difficult times.

Holly offers a Facebook group for support, one to one coaching, her YouTube channel and also records a podcast.

Holly boasts an impressive 18.8k followers on Instagram and her bio states: “TV Actress | Ted X | Life Coach”.
