Wendy Williams shares rare video message & accuses ex-manager Bernie Young of stealing her credit card to pay for lawyer

WENDY Williams shared a rare video message and accused her ex-manager Bernie Young of stealing her credit card to pay for a lawyer.

In a video message that Wendy, 57, posted to her new official Instagram account, the former daytime talk show host shockingly alleged that her former manager Bernie Young, 75, stole money from her to hire his own legal counsel to pursue guardianship over her.

Wendy called the guardianship case and her frozen assets ‘unfair’

The Celeb Report was the first to report that there was a guardianship case underway and that Bernie is petitioning for control of the ailing star.

The ailing star spoke for a little over three minutes and lodged several allegations against her axed manager, as well as against her former Wells Fargo financial advisor Lori Shiller.

“This is not fair and Wells Fargo has no questions or answers regarding my money. This is not fair and Lori Schiller and Wells Fargo have this guardianship petition about keeping me away from my money. This is not right and this is not fair.”

“And this guy named Bernie Young, I know for a fact that Bernie young, use my American Express card to hire an attorney to file a petition against me.

That was done with my American Express card. Bernie Young, you’re no good and this is not fair at all.”

She also accused a former doctor of sending medical information about her to her former financial advisor and added that “Wells Fargo has used all this stuff to create the Guardianship over me.”

She signed off on the short video by addressing Lori, Bernie and Wells Fargo directly, and said “Please let me have access to my money, this is not right and this is not fair. Please have a blessed day.”

The Celeb Report reached out to Bernie for comment and have not heard back. A rep for Wells Fargo issued a no comment.

Bernie files for guardianship

As The Celeb Report exclusively reported earlier, the ailing TV host’s former manager Bernie Young, 75, whom she fired earlier this year, quietly filed papers in New York court amid her legal battle to gain control over her Wells Fargo bank accounts, multiple sources confirmed.

One source told close to Wendy told The Celeb Report that Bernie filed a petition for guardianship over Wendy about two weeks ago in a sealed case, though she “wants nothing to do with him.”

Though Wendy distanced herself from Bernie in recent months, a second source claimed that during the Wells Fargo legal case, the bank said Wendy’s former manager was someone who was acting in her best interest.

Other sources close to the ongoing legal drama claimed the initial case Wendy brought against Wells Fargo to regain access to her frozen accounts has now been rolled into the main guardianship case.

As The Celeb Report first exclusively revealed, Wendy filed an emergency petition against Wells Fargo to regain access to her frozen bank accounts allegedly containing millions of dollars.

Wells Fargo then asked the judge to hold a guardianship hearing for Wendy as they called her an “incapacitated person” who is the possible “victim of financial exploitation.”

The case was eventually sealed to the public.

As The Celeb Report reported, Wendy’s son, Kevin Hunter Jr, 21, currently holds power of attorney over his famous mother.

A source close to Wendy claims that Kevin has not filed for guardianship over his mother because neither he nor Wendy believes she is in need of a guardian.

Sources close to Wendy have insisted that the host’s health has been improving since she first moved to Florida to be with family while she recovers from a myriad of medical crises.

Wendy opens up about legal battles

In a shocking interview on Good Morning America last week, Wendy claimed she would be ready to return to The Wendy Williams Show in three months, despite the timeslot being given to Sherri Shepherd for her own eponymous show starting in September.

During the interview, she also gave insight into her current lawsuit with Wells Fargo.

She said: “They say that I need somebody to handle my account and I don’t want that.

“I want all my money. I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life.”

After insisting that she doesn’t “lie,” “cheat” or “steal,” the talk show host added: “I am an honest, hard-working person.”

Is Wendy okay?

As The Celeb Report previously reported, the former daytime presenter has been battling medical problems for some time.

A source close to the show previously told The Celeb Report: “The spark is gone. That Wendy, who for ten years had that spark in her eyes, that cheeky grin and that little wink is not the same now.”

The insider added some days are better than others for the once feisty daytime diva.

“She’s not always functioning like she used to be. She has days where she needs help eating, getting out of bed and getting dressed.”

“There are people who Wendy knows, who have worked closely with her, and there are days that she has no idea who they are,” the source added.
