What is the prize for The Apprentice winner?

The winner of The Apprentice gets a £250,000 investment into their business idea and a 50/50 partnership with Lord Alan Sugar.

The deal has resulted in Lord Sugar handing out nearly 3 million pounds to a string of successful businesses.

Harpreet Kaur won the BBC series in 2022 with Lord Sugar deciding to invest in her sweet treat business, Oh So Yum!

The dessert parlour, available in-store and online, offers a range of baked goods and sweets.

Speaking of her win as the news was revealed, she said that it was a “dream come true”.

She explained: “I cannot believe Lord Sugar has chosen me to be his business partner!

“I have dreamed of this moment, and it just completely proves that if you work hard and you believe in yourself, dreams do come true.”

Previously, the remaining candidate at the end of the process won a £100,000 salaried job within Lord Sugar’s company.

The change was made in 2011 with Tom Pellereau becoming Lord Sugar’s first business partner.

After the 2019 show ended Lord Sugar revealed he had invested in runner up Scarlett Allen-Horton‘s recruitment business, Harper Fox Partners.
