The Celebrities will be going head-to-head in the kitchen showing off their cooking skills in hopes of becoming crowned Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook 2022.
MasterChef judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode will be back to critique the celebrities this year and crown their winner.
They will be competing for the prestigious title and the glamorous all-new Celebrity MasterChef Golden Whisk trophy.
The celebrities that are competing in 2022 are Happy Monday’s legend Bez, athletics world champion Iwan Thomas, pop star Josh Cuthbert and opera superstar Lesley Garrett.
Who won Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off 2021?
Judi Love was crowned winner of Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off 2021.
She wowed them with her Caribbean-themed Christmas dinner, and her Jamaican Christmas black cake.
Judi called for a celebration to mark the moment, as she said the win had “made her Christmas”.
She confessed: “Bring on the Prosecco and let’s start this party. I am so excited, my kids and family are going to be so happy.
“I am overwhelmed, it is a beautiful feeling and has made my Christmas.”
The first challenge was to make a dish only using ingredients that the celebrities had secured from a seasonal advent calendar, meaning they all had to think on the spot.
But all of Judi’s cooks were successful, and the hosts were so impressed that it wasn’t long before she was crowned the champion.
Her cake included a sorrel sauce and a stout and rum punch ice cream, and John told her he “loved” what she had made.
Meanwhile, her Christmas dinner featured a rolled turkey breast which was stuffed with jerk seasoning.
