MATT and Daniel have made reality television history as Married At First Sight UK’s first ever same-sex couple.
But the pair were conspicuously absent from the show’s first ever dinner party leaving fans wondering what happened to them.

Why didn’t Matt and Daniel attend the dinner party?
The couples on the show have returned from their honeymoons and were reunited on the September 7 episode for the first ever dinner party.
Eagle-eyed viewers quickly realised that Matt and Daniel were missing, however – and it didn’t escape the notice of their fellow contestants, either.
Morag asked, “hey guys, one second, where’s Daniel and Matt? Where are they? They should have been here by now.”
The couples began to speculate that the couple had left the show, with Tayah saying: “my gut is telling me that they have walked.”
Matt and Daniel finally contacted the rest of the contestants towards the end of the show.
Daniel rang Morag to tell her he and Daniel wouldn’t be attending the dinner and cryptically said: “We will tell you when we next see you.”
Have they left the show?
Viewers probably shouldn’t worry too much, however, as it looks likely that we will be seeing Matt and Daniel back on our screens soon.
Daniel went on to tell Morag that he and his new husband had been held up on honeymoon, but it was “all good”.
The show was filmed during the pandemic, so viewers are speculating that their delay had something to do with COVID-19 travel restrictions.
This seems like the most likely explanation, but Channel 4 hasn’t confirmed the rumour.
